Ezekiel 21:28-32

28“And you, ason of man, prophesy, and say, Thus says the Lord God bconcerning the Ammonites and concerning their reproach; say, cA sword, a sword dis drawn for the slaughter. eIt is polished to consume and to flash like lightning 29while fthey see for you false visions, while they divine lies for you—to place you on the necks of the profane wicked, gwhose day has come, the time of their final punishment. 30 hReturn it to its sheath. In the place where you were created, in the land of your origin, iI will judge you. 31And jI will pour out my indignation upon you; kI will blow upon you with the fire of my wrath, and I will deliver you into the hands of lbrutish men, skillful to destroy. 32You shall be fuel for the fire. Your blood shall be in the midst of the land. mYou shall be no more remembered, nfor I the Lord have spoken.”

Ezekiel 25:2-10

2 oSon of man, pset your face toward qthe Ammonites and prophesy against them. 3Say to the Ammonites, Hear the word of the Lord God: rThus says the Lord God, Because you said, sAha!’ over my tsanctuary when it was profaned, and over the land of Israel when it was made desolate, and over the house of Judah when they went into exile, 4therefore behold, I am handing you over to uthe people of the East for a possession, and they shall set their encampments among you and make their dwellings in your midst. They shall eat your fruit, and they shall drink your milk. 5I will make vRabbah a wpasture for camels and Ammon

ya fold for flocks. zThen you will know that I am the Lord.
6For thus says the Lord God: Because aayou have clapped your hands aband stamped your feet and acrejoiced with all the admalice within your soul against the land of Israel, 7therefore, behold, aeI have stretched out my hand against you, and afwill hand you over as plunder to the nations. And I will cut you off from the peoples and will make you perish out of the countries; I will destroy you. Then you will know that I am the Lord.

Prophecy Against Moab and Seir

8Thus says the Lord God: Because agMoab and ahSeir

said, ‘Behold, the ajhouse of Judah is like all the other nations,’
9therefore akI will lay open the flank of Moab from the cities, from its cities on its frontier, the glory of the country, alBeth-jeshimoth, amBaal-meon, and anKiriathaim. 10I will give it aoalong with the Ammonites apto the people of the East as a possession, aqthat the Ammonites may be remembered no more among the nations,

Amos 1:13-15

13Thus says the Lord:

ar“For three transgressions of the asAmmonites,
and for four, I will not revoke the punishment,
because atthey have ripped open pregnant women in auGilead,
that they might enlarge their border.
14So I will kindle a fire in the wall of avRabbah,
awand it shall devour her strongholds,
with shouting on the day of battle,
axwith a tempest in the day of the whirlwind;
15and aytheir king shall go into exile,
he and his princes
Or officials
together,”

says the Lord.

Zephaniah 2:8-11

8 “I have heard bathe taunts of Moab
and bbthe revilings of the Ammonites,
how they have taunted my people
and made boasts bcagainst their territory.
9Therefore, bdas I live,” declares the Lord of hosts,
the God of Israel,
Moab shall become belike Sodom,
and the Ammonites bflike Gomorrah,
a land possessed by nettles and salt pits,
and a waste forever.
The remnant of my people shall plunder them,
and the survivors of my nation shall possess them.”
10This shall be their lot in return bgfor their pride,
because they taunted and boasted
against the people of the Lord of hosts.
11The Lord will be awesome against them;
bhfor he will famish all the gods of the earth,
and bito him shall bow down,
each in its place,
all bjthe lands of the nations.
