Ezekiel 22:27-29

27 ^aHer princes in her midst are like wolves ^btearing the prey, ^cshedding blood, destroying lives to get dishonest gain. 28 And ^dher prophets have smeared whitewash for them, ^eseeing false visions and divining lies for them, saying, ‘Thus says the Lord God,’ when the Lord has not spoken. 29 The people of the land ^fhave practiced extortion and committed robbery. They have oppressed the poor and needy, and ^ghave extorted from the sojourner without justice.

Micah 3:1-3

Rulers and Prophets Denounced

1 And I said:
^hHear, you heads of Jacob
and rulers of the house of Israel!
ⁱIs it not for you to know justice?—
2 you ^jwho hate the good and love the evil,
^kwho tear the skin from off my people ^{▼▼Hebrew from off them}
and their flesh from off their bones,
3 ^mwho eat the flesh of my people,
and flay their skin from off them,
and break their bones in pieces
and chop them up like meat in a pot,
like flesh in a cauldron.

Micah 7:3-4
