Ezekiel 22:6

6 “Behold, ^athe princes of Israel in you, every one according to his power, have been bent on shedding blood.

Ezekiel 22:25-27

25 ^bThe conspiracy of her prophets in her midst is ^clike a roaring lion ^dtearing the prey; they have devoured human lives; they have taken treasure and precious things; they have made many widows in her midst. 26 ^eHer priests ^fhave done violence to my law and ^ghave profaned my holy things. ^hThey have made no distinction between the holy and the common, neither have they taught the difference between the unclean and the clean, and ⁱthey have disregarded my Sabbaths, ^jso that I am profaned among them. 27 ^kHer princes in her midst are like wolves ^ltearing the prey, ^mshedding blood, destroying lives to get dishonest gain.

Micah 3:1-4

Rulers and Prophets Denounced

1 And I said:
ⁿHear, you heads of Jacob
and rulers of the house of Israel!
^oIs it not for you to know justice?—
2 you ^pwho hate the good and love the evil,
^qwho tear the skin from off my people ^{▼▼Hebrew from off them}
and their flesh from off their bones,
3 ^swho eat the flesh of my people,
and flay their skin from off them,
and break their bones in pieces
and chop them up like meat in a pot,
like flesh in a cauldron.
4 ^tThen they will cry to the Lord,
but he will not answer them;
^uhe will hide his face from them at that time,
because they have made their deeds evil.

Micah 3:9-11

9 ^vHear this, you heads of the house of Jacob
and rulers of the house of Israel,
^wwho detest justice
and make crooked all that is straight,
10 ^xwho build Zion with blood
and Jerusalem with iniquity.
11 ^yIts heads give judgment for a bribe;
^zits priests teach for a price;
^aaits prophets practice divination for money;
^abyet they lean on the Lord and ^acsay,
“Is not the Lord in the midst of us?
^adNo disaster shall come upon us.”
