Ezekiel 28:22-23
22and say, Thus says the Lord God:“Behold, aI am against you, O Sidon,
and bI will manifest my glory in your midst.
And cthey shall know that I am the Lord
dwhen I execute judgments in her
and emanifest my holiness in her;
23for I will send fpestilence into her,
and blood into her streets;
and the slain shall fall in her midst,
by the sword that is against her on every side.
Then they will know that I am the Lord.
Ezekiel 32:30
30“The princes gof the north are there, all of them, and all the hSidonians, who have gone down in shame with the slain, ifor all the terror that they caused by their might; they lie uncircumcised with those who are slain by the sword, and jbear their shame with those who go down to the pit.Joel 3:4-8
4“What are you to me, kO Tyre and Sidon, and all lthe regions of Philistia? Are you paying me back for something? If you are paying me back, mI will return your payment on your own head swiftly and speedily. 5For nyou have taken my silver and my gold, and have carried my rich treasures into your temples. ▼▼Or palaces
6You have sold pthe people of Judah and Jerusalem to the Greeks in order to remove them far from their own border. 7Behold, I will stir them up from the place to which you have sold them, and qI will return your payment on your own head. 8I will sell your sons and your daughters into the hand of the people of Judah, and they will sell them to the rSabeans, to a nation far away, for the Lord has spoken.”
