Ezekiel 34:3-6

3 aYou eat the fat, you clothe yourselves with the wool, byou slaughter the fat ones, but you do not feed the sheep. 4 cThe weak you have not strengthened, the sick you have not healed, dthe injured you have not bound up, ethe strayed you have not brought back, fthe lost you have not sought, and with force and gharshness you have ruled them. 5 hSo they were scattered, because there was no shepherd, and ithey became food for all the wild beasts. My sheep were scattered; 6they wandered over all the mountains and on every high hill. My sheep were scattered over all the face of the earth, jwith none to search or seek for them.

Zechariah 10:2

2For kthe household gods lutter nonsense,
and the diviners see lies;
mthey tell false dreams
and give empty consolation.
Therefore nthe people wander like sheep;
they are afflicted for lack of a shepherd.

Zechariah 11:16

16For behold, I am raising up in the land a shepherd owho does not care for those being destroyed, or seek the young or heal the maimed or nourish the healthy, but pdevours the flesh of the fat ones, tearing off even their hoofs.

Zechariah 13:7-8

The Shepherd Struck

7 Awake, O sword, against qmy shepherd,
against the man who stands next to me,”

declares the Lord of hosts.
rStrike the shepherd, and the sheep will be scattered;
I will turn my hand against the little ones.
8In the whole land, declares the Lord,
two thirds shall be cut off and perish,
sand one third shall be left alive.
