Ezekiel 39:25-29

The Lord Will Restore Israel

25Therefore thus says the Lord God: Now aI will restore the fortunes of Jacob and have mercy on bthe whole house of Israel, and cI will be jealous for my holy name. 26They shall dforget their shame and all the treachery they have practiced against me, when ethey dwell securely in their land with fnone to make them afraid, 27 gwhen I have brought them back from the peoples and gathered them from their enemieslands, hand through them have vindicated my holiness in the sight of many nations. 28 iThen they shall know that I am the Lord their God, because I sent them into exile among the nations and then assembled them into their own land. I will leave none of them remaining among the nations anymore. 29 jAnd I will not hide my face anymore from them, when kI pour out my Spirit upon the house of Israel, declares the Lord God.”

The Restoration of Israel

11 “In that day lI will raise up
the booth of David that is fallen

and rebuild it as in the days of old,
12 mthat they may possess the remnant of Edom
and nall the nations who are called by my name,”

declares the Lord who does this.
13 Behold, the days are coming,” declares the Lord,
p“when the plowman shall overtake the reaper
and the treader of grapes him who sows the seed;
qthe mountains shall drip sweet wine,
and all the hills shall flow with it.
14 rI will restore the fortunes of my people Israel,
and sthey shall rebuild the ruined cities and inhabit them;
tthey shall plant vineyards and drink their wine,
and they shall make gardens and eat their fruit.
15 uI will plant them on their land,
vand they shall never again be uprooted
out of the land wthat I have given them,”

16 aeThe nations shall see and be ashamed of all their might;
