Ezekiel 39:25-29

The Lord Will Restore Israel

25Therefore thus says the Lord God: Now aI will restore the fortunes of Jacob and have mercy on bthe whole house of Israel, and cI will be jealous for my holy name. 26They shall dforget their shame and all the treachery they have practiced against me, when ethey dwell securely in their land with fnone to make them afraid, 27 gwhen I have brought them back from the peoples and gathered them from their enemieslands, hand through them have vindicated my holiness in the sight of many nations. 28 iThen they shall know that I am the Lord their God, because I sent them into exile among the nations and then assembled them into their own land. I will leave none of them remaining among the nations anymore. 29 jAnd I will not hide my face anymore from them, when kI pour out my Spirit upon the house of Israel, declares the Lord God.”

Hebrews 8:6-13

6But as it is, Christ
Greek he
has obtained a ministry that is mas much more excellent than the old as nthe covenant ohe mediates is better, since it is enacted on better promises.
7 pFor if that first covenant had been faultless, there would have been no occasion to look for a second.

8For he finds fault with them when he says:
Some manuscripts  For finding fault with it he says to them

rBehold, the days are coming, declares the Lord,
when I will establish a new covenant with the house of Israel
and with the house of Judah,
9not like the covenant that I made with their fathers
on the day when I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt.
For they did not continue in my covenant,
and so I showed no concern for them, declares the Lord.
10 sFor this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel
after those days, declares the Lord:
I will put my laws into their minds,
and twrite them on their hearts,
and I will be their God,
and they shall be my people.
11And they shall not teach, each one his neighbor
and each one his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’
for they shall uall know me,
from the least of them to the greatest.
12For I will be merciful toward their iniquities,
vand I will remember their sins no more.”
13In speaking of a new covenant, he makes the first one obsolete. And wwhat is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to vanish away.

Hebrews 10:16

16 xThis is the covenant that I will make with them
after those days, declares the Lord:
I will put my laws on their hearts,
and write them on their minds,”
