Ezekiel 4:13-17

13And the Lord said, “Thus shall the people of Israel eat atheir bread unclean, among the nations where I will drive them.” 14Then I said, bAh, Lord God! Behold, I have never defiled myself.
Hebrew my soul (or throat) has never been made unclean
dFrom my youth up till now I have never eaten ewhat died of itself or was torn by beasts, nor has ftainted meat come into my mouth.”
15Then he said to me, “See, I assign to you cow’s dung instead of human dung, on which you may prepare your bread.” 16Moreover, he said to me, gSon of man, behold, hI will break the supply
Hebrew staff
of bread in Jerusalem. They shall eat bread jby weight and with anxiety, and they shall drink water kby measure and in dismay.
17I will do this that they may lack bread and water, and llook at one another in dismay, and mrot away because of their punishment.

Ezekiel 24:22-23

22And nyou shall do as I have done; oyou shall not cover your lips, pnor eat the bread of men. 23 qYour turbans shall be on your heads and your shoes on your feet; you shall not mourn or weep, but ryou shall rot away in your iniquities and groan to one another.

Acts 14:22

22 sstrengthening the souls of the disciples, encouraging them tto continue in uthe faith, and saying that vthrough many tribulations we must enter the kingdom of God.
