Eze 43:1-8, Zec 12:2-3, 14:3, 19-21 | ESV | STEP | Then he led me to the gate , the gate facing east .

1 Then he led me to ^athe gate, the gate facing east. 2 And behold, ^bthe glory of the God of Israel was coming from the east. And ^cthe sound of his coming was like the sound of many waters, and ^dthe earth shone with his glory. 3 And ^ethe vision I saw was just like the vision that I had seen ^fwhen he ^{▼▼Some Hebrew manuscripts and Vulgate; most Hebrew manuscripts when I} came to destroy the city, and just like ^hthe vision that I had seen ⁱby the Chebar canal. And ^jI fell on my face. 4 As ^kthe glory of the Lord ^lentered the temple by the gate facing east, 5 ^mthe Spirit lifted me up and brought me into ⁿthe inner court; and behold, ^othe glory of the Lord filled the temple.

6 ^pWhile the man was standing beside me, ^qI heard one speaking to me out of the temple, 7 and he said to me, ^r“Son of man, this is ^sthe place of my throne and ^tthe place of the soles of my feet, ^uwhere I will dwell in the midst of the people of Israel forever. And the house of Israel shall no more ^vdefile my holy name, neither they, nor their kings, by their whoring and by the dead bodies ^{▼▼Or the monuments; also verse 9} of their kings at their high places, ^{▼▼Or at their deaths} 8 by setting their threshold by my threshold and their doorposts beside my doorposts, with ^yonly a wall between me and them. They have ^zdefiled my holy name by their abominations that they have committed, so I have consumed them in my anger.

Zechariah 12:2-3

2 “Behold, I am about to make Jerusalem ^aaa cup of staggering to ^aball the surrounding peoples. The siege of Jerusalem ^acwill also be against Judah. 3 ^adOn that day I will make Jerusalem a heavy stone for all the peoples. ^aeAll who lift it will surely hurt themselves. And ^afall the nations of the earth will gather against it.

Zechariah 14:3

3 ^agThen the Lord will go out and fight against those nations as when he fights on a day of battle.

Zechariah 14:19-21

19 This shall be the punishment to Egypt and the punishment to all the nations that do not go up ^ahto keep the Feast of Booths.

20 And ^aion that day there shall be inscribed on the bells of the horses, ^aj“Holy to the Lord.” And the pots in the house of the Lord shall be as the bowls before the altar. 21 And every pot in Jerusalem and Judah shall be ^akholy to the Lord of hosts, so that all who sacrifice may come and take of them and boil the meat of the sacrifice in them. And ^althere shall no longer be ^ama trader ^{▼▼Or Canaanite} in the house of the Lord of hosts ^aoon that day.
