Ezekiel 9:5-7

5 And to ^athe others he said in my hearing, “Pass through the city after him, and strike. ^bYour eye shall not spare, and you shall show no pity. 6 ^cKill old men outright, young men and maidens, little children and women, but ^dtouch no one on whom is the mark. And ^ebegin at my sanctuary.” So they began with the elders who were before the house. 7 Then he said to them, ^f“Defile the house, and fill the courts with the slain. Go out.” So they went out and struck in the city.

Ezekiel 24:21

21 ‘Say to the house of Israel, Thus says the Lord God: ^gBehold, I will profane my sanctuary, the pride of your power, the delight of your eyes, and the yearning of your soul, and ^hyour sons and your daughters whom you left behind shall fall by the sword.

Micah 3:12

12 Therefore because of you
