The Proclamation of Cyrus

1 ^aIn the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, ^bthat the word of the Lord by the mouth of Jeremiah might be fulfilled, the Lord stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, so ^cthat he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom and also put it in writing:

Daniel 12:7

7 And I heard ^dthe man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the stream; ^ehe raised his right hand and his left hand toward heaven and ^fswore by him who lives forever that it would be for a ^gtime, times, and half a time, and that when the shattering of ^hthe power of ⁱthe holy people comes to an end all these things would be finished.
