Ezra 1:1-2

The Proclamation of Cyrus

1 ^aIn the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, ^bthat the word of the Lord by the mouth of Jeremiah might be fulfilled, the Lord stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, so ^cthat he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom and also put it in writing:

2 “Thus says Cyrus king of Persia: The Lord, the God of heaven, has given me all the kingdoms of the earth, and ^dhe has charged me to build him a house at Jerusalem, which is in Judah.

Isaiah 45:13

13 ^eI have stirred him up in righteousness,
^fand I will make all his ways level;
^ghe shall build my city
^hand set my exiles free,
not for price or reward,”
says the Lord of hosts.

Isaiah 48:20

20 ⁱGo out from Babylon, flee from ^jChaldea,
declare this ^kwith a shout of joy, proclaim it,
send it out to the end of the earth;
say, ^l“The Lord has redeemed his servant Jacob!”

Isaiah 52:9-12

9 ^mBreak forth together into singing,
ⁿyou waste places of Jerusalem,

he has redeemed Jerusalem.

before the eyes of all the nations,

Micah 7:8-13

Zechariah 2:7-9
