Ezra 1:3

3Whoever is among you of all his people, may his God be with him, and let him go up to Jerusalem, which is in Judah, and rebuild the house of the Lord, the God of Israelahe is the God who is in Jerusalem.

Daniel 3:12

12There are certain Jews whom you have bappointed over the affairs of cthe province of Babylon: dShadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. These men, O king, epay no attention to you; they do not serve your gods or worship the golden image that you have set up.”

Daniel 3:16-18

16 fShadrach, Meshach, and Abednego answered and said to the king, “O Nebuchadnezzar, we have no need to answer you in this matter. 17If this be so, gour God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of your hand, O king.
Or If our God whom we serve is able to deliver us, he will deliver us from the burning fiery furnace and out of your hand, O king.
18But if not, be it known to you, O king, that we will not serve your gods or worship the golden image that you have set up.”

Daniel 3:23-30

23And these three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, fell ibound into the burning fiery furnace.

24Then King Nebuchadnezzar was jastonished and rose up kin haste. He declared to his lcounselors, “Did we not cast three men mbound into the fire?” They answered and said to the king, “True, O king.” 25He answered and said, “But I see four men unbound, nwalking in the midst of the fire, and they oare not hurt; and the appearance of the fourth is like pa son of the gods.”

26Then Nebuchadnezzar came near to the door of the burning fiery furnace; he declared, qShadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, servants of the rMost High God, come out, and come here!” Then sShadrach, Meshach, and Abednego came out from the fire. 27And the tsatraps, the prefects, the governors, and uthe king’s counselors gathered together and saw that vthe fire had not had any power over the bodies of those men. The hair of their heads was not singed, their wcloaks were not harmed, and no smell of fire had come upon them. 28Nebuchadnezzar answered and said, “Blessed be the God of xShadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who yhas sent his angel and zdelivered his servants, who aatrusted in him, and set aside
Aramaic  and changed
the king’s command, and yielded up their bodies rather than acserve and worship any god except their own God.
29Therefore adI make a decree: Any aepeople, nation, or language that speaks anything against the God of afShadrach, Meshach, and Abednego agshall be torn limb from limb, and their houses laid in ruins, for there is no other god who is able to rescue in this way.” 30Then the king promoted ahShadrach, Meshach, and Abednego in aithe province of Babylon.

Daniel 6:20-28

20As he came near to the den where Daniel was, he cried out in a tone of anguish. The king declared to Daniel, “O Daniel, servant of ajthe living God, akhas your God, whom you serve continually, albeen able to deliver you from the lions?” 21Then Daniel said to the king, am“O king, live forever! 22My God ansent his angel aoand shut the lionsmouths, and they have not harmed me, because I was found blameless apbefore him; aqand also before you, O king, I have done no harm.” 23Then the king was exceedingly glad, and commanded that Daniel be taken up out of the den. So Daniel was taken up out of the den, and arno kind of harm was found on him, because he had trusted in his God. 24And the king commanded, and asthose men who had maliciously accused Daniel were brought and cast into the den of lionsthey, their children, and their wives. And before they reached the bottom of the den, the lions overpowered them and broke all their bones in pieces.

25Then King Darius wrote to all atthe peoples, nations, and languages authat dwell in all the earth: avPeace be multiplied to you. 26 awI make a decree, that in all my royal dominion axpeople are to tremble and fear before the God of Daniel,

for ayhe is azthe living God,
enduring forever;
his kingdom shall never be destroyed,
baand his dominion shall be bbto the end.
27He delivers and rescues;
he works bcsigns and wonders
in heaven and on earth,
he who has bdsaved Daniel
from the power of the lions.”
28So this Daniel prospered during the reign of Darius and bethe reign of bfCyrus the Persian.
