Ezra 10:3
3Therefore alet us make a covenant with our God to put away all these wives and btheir children, according to the counsel of my lord ▼▼Or of the Lord
and of dthose who tremble at the commandment of our God, and let it be done eaccording to the Law. Nehemiah 5:12-13
12Then they said, “We will restore these and frequire nothing from them. We will do as you say.” And I called the priests and gmade them swear hto do as they had promised. 13 iI also shook out the fold ▼▼Hebrew bosom
of my garment and said, “So may God shake out every man from his house and from his labor who does not keep this promise. So may he be shaken out and emptied.” kAnd all the assembly said “Amen” and praised the Lord. And the people did as they had promised. Nehemiah 9:38

The Obligations of the Covenant
28 p“The rest of the people, the priests, the Levites, the gatekeepers, the singers, the temple servants, qand all who have separated themselves from the peoples of the lands to the Law of God, their wives, their sons, their daughters, all who have knowledge and understanding, 29join with their brothers, their nobles, rand enter into a curse and an oath sto walk in God’s Law that was given by Moses the servant of God, and to observe and do all the commandments of the Lord our Lord and his rules and his statutes.2 Corinthians 8:5
5and this, not as we expected, but they tgave themselves first to the Lord and then by the will of God to us.
