Ezra 3:12-13

12But many of the priests and Levites and heads of fathers’ houses, aold men who had seen the first house, wept with a loud voice when they saw the foundation of this house being laid, though many shouted aloud for joy, 13so that the people could not distinguish the sound of the joyful shout from the sound of the people’s weeping, for the people shouted with a great shout, and the sound was heard far away.

Nehemiah 4:2-4

2And he said in the presence of his brothers and of the army of bSamaria, “What are these feeble Jews doing? Will they restore it for themselves?
Or  Will they commit themselves to God?
Will they sacrifice? Will they finish up in a day? Will they revive the stones out of the heaps of rubbish, and burned ones at that?”
3 dTobiah the Ammonite was beside him, and he said, “Yes, what they are buildingeif a fox goes up on it he will break down their stone wall!” 4 fHear, O our God, for we are despised. gTurn back their taunt on their own heads and give them up to be plundered in a land where they are captives.

Daniel 2:34-35

34As you looked, a stone was cut out mby no human hand, and it struck the image on its feet of iron and clay, and nbroke them in pieces. 35Then the iron, the clay, the bronze, the silver, and the gold, all together were broken in pieces, and became olike the chaff of the summer threshing floors; and the wind carried them away, so that pnot a trace of them could be found. But the stone that struck the image became qa great mountain rand filled the whole earth.

Hosea 6:3
