Ezra 3:12-13

12But many of the priests and Levites and heads of fathers’ houses, aold men who had seen the first house, wept with a loud voice when they saw the foundation of this house being laid, though many shouted aloud for joy, 13so that the people could not distinguish the sound of the joyful shout from the sound of the people’s weeping, for the people shouted with a great shout, and the sound was heard far away.

Jesus Appears to His Disciples

36As they were talking about these things, fJesus himself stood among them, and said to them, Peace to you!” 37But they were gstartled and hfrightened and ithought they saw a spirit. 38And he said to them, Why are you troubled, and why do doubts arise in your hearts? 39See my hands and my feet, that it is I myself. jTouch me, and see. For a spirit does not have flesh and bones as you see that I have.” 40And when he had said this, khe showed them his hands and his feet. 41And while they still disbelieved lfor joy and were marveling, mhe said to them, Have you anything here to eat?”

John 16:20

20Truly, truly, I say to you, nyou will weep and lament, but othe world will rejoice. You will be sorrowful, but pyour sorrow will turn into joy.

John 16:22

22 qSo also you have sorrow now, but rI will see you again, and syour hearts will rejoice, and no one will take your joy from you.

John 20:20-21
