Ezra 4:12

12be it known to the king that the Jews who came up from you to us have gone to Jerusalem. They are rebuilding that rebellious and wicked city. They are afinishing the walls and repairing the foundations.

Nehemiah 4:2

2And he said in the presence of his brothers and of the army of bSamaria, “What are these feeble Jews doing? Will they restore it for themselves?
Or  Will they commit themselves to God?
Will they sacrifice? Will they finish up in a day? Will they revive the stones out of the heaps of rubbish, and burned ones at that?”

Acts 18:14-16

14But when Paul was about to open his mouth, Gallio said to the Jews, “If it were a matter of wrongdoing or vicious dcrime, O Jews, I would have reason to accept your complaint. 15But esince it is a matter of questions about words and names and fyour own law, see to it yourselves. I refuse to be a judge of these things.” 16And he drove them from the tribunal.

Acts 23:29

29I found that he was being accused gabout questions of their law, but hcharged with nothing deserving death or imprisonment.

19Rather they ihad certain points of dispute with him about their own religion and about ja certain Jesus, who was dead, but whom Paul asserted to be alive. 20Being at a loss how to investigate these questions, I kasked whether he wanted to go to Jerusalem and be tried there regarding them.
