Ezra 5:1-2

Rebuilding Begins Anew

1 Now the prophets, ^aHaggai and ^bZechariah the son of Iddo, prophesied to the Jews who were in Judah and Jerusalem, in the name of the God of Israel who was over them. 2 ^cThen Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel and ^dJeshua the son of Jozadak arose and began to rebuild the house of God that is in Jerusalem, and the prophets of God were ^ewith them, supporting them.

Haggai 1:14-15

14 And ^fthe Lord stirred up the spirit of ^gZerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and the spirit of ^hJoshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest, and the spirit of all ⁱthe remnant of the people. And they came and ^jworked on the house of the Lord of hosts, their God, 15 ^kon the twenty-fourth day of the month, in the sixth month, in the second year of Darius the king.

Zechariah 8:9

9 Thus says the Lord of hosts: ^l“Let your hands be strong, you who in these days have been hearing these words from the mouth of ^mthe prophets who were present on ⁿthe day that the foundation of the house of the Lord of hosts was laid, that the temple might be built.

Zechariah 8:12

12 ^oFor there shall be a sowing of peace. The vine shall give its fruit, and the ground shall give its produce, ^pand the heavens shall give their dew. ^qAnd I will cause the remnant of this people to possess all these things.
