Ezra 5:1-2

Rebuilding Begins Anew

1Now the prophets, aHaggai and bZechariah the son of Iddo, prophesied to the Jews who were in Judah and Jerusalem, in the name of the God of Israel who was over them. 2 cThen Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel and dJeshua the son of Jozadak arose and began to rebuild the house of God that is in Jerusalem, and the prophets of God were ewith them, supporting them.

Haggai 1:14-15

14And fthe Lord stirred up the spirit of gZerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and the spirit of hJoshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest, and the spirit of all ithe remnant of the people. And they came and jworked on the house of the Lord of hosts, their God, 15 kon the twenty-fourth day of the month, in the sixth month, in the second year of Darius the king.

Zechariah 8:9

9Thus says the Lord of hosts: l“Let your hands be strong, you who in these days have been hearing these words from the mouth of mthe prophets who were present on nthe day that the foundation of the house of the Lord of hosts was laid, that the temple might be built.

Zechariah 8:12

12 oFor there shall be a sowing of peace. The vine shall give its fruit, and the ground shall give its produce, pand the heavens shall give their dew. qAnd I will cause the remnant of this people to possess all these things.
