Ezra 7:6

6this Ezra went up from Babylonia. He was a scribe askilled in the Law of Moses that the Lord, the God of Israel, had given, and the king granted him all that he asked, bfor the hand of the Lord his God was on him.

Matthew 23:13

13But woe cto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you dshut the kingdom of heaven in people’s faces. For you eneither enter yourselves nor allow those who would enter to go in.
Some manuscripts add here (or after verse 12) verse 14: Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you devour widows’ houses and for a pretense you make long prayers; therefore you will receive the greater condemnation
