Ezra Prays About Intermarriage

1After these things had been done, the officials approached me and said, “The people of Israel and the priests and the aLevites have not separated themselves from the peoples of the lands bwith their abominations, from the cCanaanites, the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Jebusites, the Ammonites, the Moabites, the Egyptians, and the Amorites.

Ezra 9:12

12 dTherefore do not give your daughters to their sons, neither take their daughters for your sons, and never seek their peace or prosperity, that you may be strong and eat the good of the land eand leave it for an inheritance to your children forever.’

Nehemiah 13:23-25

5Oholah played the whore pwhile she was mine, and qshe lusted after her lovers rthe Assyrians, warriors 6clothed in purple, sgovernors and commanders, tall of them desirable young men, uhorsemen riding on horses. 7She bestowed her whoring upon them, the choicest men of Assyria all of them, and she defiled herself with all the idols of everyone after whom she lusted. 8She did not give up her whoring vthat she had begun in Egypt; for in her youth men had lain with her and handled her virgin bosom and poured out their whoring lust upon her. 9Therefore wI delivered her into the hands of her lovers, into the hands of the Assyrians, after whom she lusted. 10 xThese uncovered her nakedness; ythey seized her sons and her daughters; and as for her, they killed her with the sword; and she became za byword among women, aawhen judgment had been executed on her.

Hosea 5:7

3They shall not remain in akthe land of the Lord,
