Ezra 9:13-15

13And after all that has come upon us for our evil deeds and for aour great guilt, seeing that you, our bGod, have punished us less than our iniquities deserved and have given us such a cremnant as this, 14shall we break your commandments again and dintermarry with the peoples who practice these abominations? Would you not be angry with us euntil you consumed us, so that there should be no fremnant, nor any to escape? 15O Lord, the God of Israel, you are just, for we are left a gremnant that has escaped, as it is today. Behold, we are before you in our hguilt, ifor none can stand before you because of this.”

Jeremiah 17:21-23

21Thus says the Lord: Take care for the sake of your lives, and jdo not bear a burden on the Sabbath day or bring it in by the gates of Jerusalem. 22And do not carry a burden out of your houses on the Sabbath kor do any work, but lkeep the Sabbath day holy, as I commanded your fathers. 23Yet mthey did not listen or incline their ear, nbut stiffened their neck, that they omight not hear and receive instruction.

Jeremiah 17:27

27But if you do not listen to me, to pkeep the Sabbath day holy, qand not to bear a burden and enter by the gates of Jerusalem on the Sabbath day, then I will rkindle a fire in its gates, and it shall sdevour the palaces of Jerusalem and tshall not be quenched.’”

Jeremiah 44:9

Jeremiah 44:22

Zechariah 1:4-6
