8But now for a brief moment favor has been shown by the Lord our God, to leave us a aremnant and to give us a bsecure hold

Ezra 9:14

14shall we break your commandments again and hintermarry with the peoples who practice these abominations? Would you not be angry with us iuntil you consumed us, so that there should be no jremnant, nor any to escape?

Jeremiah 44:14

14 kso that none of the remnant of Judah who have come to live in the land of Egypt shall escape or survive lor return to the land of Judah, to which they desire to return to dwell there. For they shall not return, mexcept some fugitives.”

Ezekiel 6:9
