Or elemental spirits; also verse 9

Galatians 4:9

9But now that you have come to know God, or rather fto be known by God, ghow can you turn back again to hthe weak and worthless elementary principles of the world, whose slaves you want to be once more?

Colossians 2:10-17

10and iyou have been filled in him, who is jthe head of all rule and authority. 11In him also kyou were circumcised with a circumcision made without hands, by lputting off the body of the flesh, by the circumcision of Christ, 12 mhaving been buried with him in baptism, in which nyou were also raised with him through faith in othe powerful working of God, pwho raised him from the dead. 13 qAnd you, who were dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, God rmade alive together with him, having forgiven us all our trespasses, 14by scanceling tthe record of debt that stood against us with its legal demands. This he set aside, nailing it to the cross. 15 uHe disarmed the rulers and authorities
Probably demonic rulers and authorities
and wput them to open shame, by xtriumphing over them in him.

I will put my laws into their minds,
and alwrite them on their hearts,
and I will be their God,
and they shall be my people.
11And they shall not teach, each one his neighbor
and each one his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’
for they shall amall know me,
from the least of them to the greatest.
12For I will be merciful toward their iniquities,
anand I will remember their sins no more.”
13In speaking of a new covenant, he makes the first one obsolete. And aowhat is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to vanish away.

Hebrews 10:1-4

Christ’s Sacrifice Once for All

1For since the law has but apa shadow aqof the good things to come instead of the true form of these realities, arit can never, by the same sacrifices that are continually offered every year, make perfect those who draw near. 2Otherwise, would they not have ceased to be offered, since the worshipers, having once been cleansed, would no longer have any consciousness of sins? 3But asin these sacrifices atthere is a reminder of sins every year. 4For auit is impossible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins.
