5 Does he who supplies the Spirit to you and ^aworks miracles among you do so ^bby works of the law, or by hearing with faith—

Hebrews 10:32-36

32 But recall the former days when, after ^cyou were enlightened, you endured ^da hard struggle with sufferings, 33 sometimes being ^epublicly exposed to reproach and affliction, and sometimes being partners with those so treated. 34 For ^fyou had compassion on those in prison, and ^gyou joyfully accepted the plundering of your property, since you knew that you yourselves had ^ha better possession and an abiding one. 35 Therefore do not throw away your confidence, which has ⁱa great reward. 36 For ^jyou have need of endurance, so that ^kwhen you have done the will of God you may ^lreceive what is promised.
