Galatians 4:8-20

Paul’s Concern for the Galatians

8Formerly, when you adid not know God, you bwere enslaved to those that by nature care not gods. 9But now that you have come to know God, or rather dto be known by God, ehow can you turn back again to fthe weak and worthless elementary principles of the world, whose slaves you want to be once more? 10 gYou observe days and months and seasons and years! 11I am afraid hI may have labored over you in vain.

12Brothers,
Or  Brothers and sisters; also verses 28, 31
jI entreat you, become as I am, for I also have become as you are. kYou did me no wrong.
13You know it was lbecause of a bodily ailment that I preached the gospel to you mat first, 14and though my condition was a trial to you, you did not scorn or despise me, but received me nas an angel of God, oas Christ Jesus. 15What then has become of your blessedness? For I testify to you that, if possible, you would have gouged out your eyes and given them to me. 16Have I then become your enemy by ptelling you the truth?
Or by dealing truthfully with you
17They make much of you, but for no good purpose. They want to shut you out, that you may make much of them. 18It is always good to be made much of for a good purpose, and rnot only when I am present with you, 19 smy little children, tfor whom I am again in the anguish of childbirth until Christ uis formed in you! 20I wish I could be present with you now and change my tone, for I am perplexed about you.

Galatians 5:2-4

2Look: I, Paul, say to you that vif you accept circumcision, wChrist will be of no advantage to you. 3I testify again to every man who accepts circumcision that xhe is obligated to keep the whole law. 4You are ysevered from Christ, zyou who would be justified
Or counted righteous
by the law; abyou have fallen away from grace.

2 John 10-11

10If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, acdo not receive him into your house or give him any greeting, 11for whoever greets him adtakes part in his wicked works.

Jude 3-4

Judgment on False Teachers

3Beloved, although I was very eager to write to you about our aecommon salvation, I found it necessary to write appealing to you afto contend for the faith that was once for all delivered to the saints. 4For agcertain people ahhave crept in unnoticed aiwho long ago were designated for this condemnation, ungodly people, who pervert ajthe grace of our God into sensuality and akdeny our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ.

Revelation of John 2:2

2 al“‘I know your works, your toil and your patient endurance, and how you cannot bear with those who are evil, but amhave tested those anwho call themselves apostles and are not, and found them to be false.

Revelation of John 2:20

20But I have this against you, that you tolerate that woman aoJezebel, who calls herself a prophetess and is teaching and seducing my servants
Greek bondservants
aqto practice sexual immorality and arto eat food sacrificed to idols.

Revelation of John 3:15-18

15“‘I know your works: you are neither cold nor hot. asWould that you were either cold or hot! 16So, because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth. 17 atFor you say, I am rich, I have prospered, and I need nothing, not realizing that you are wretched, pitiable, poor, aublind, and naked. 18I counsel you avto buy from me gold refined by fire, so that you may be rich, and awwhite garments so that you may clothe yourself and axthe shame of your nakedness may not be seen, and salve to anoint your eyes, ayso that you may see.
