Galatians 4:8-9

Paul’s Concern for the Galatians

8 Formerly, when you ^adid not know God, you ^bwere enslaved to those that by nature ^care not gods. 9 But now that you have come to know God, or rather ^dto be known by God, ^ehow can you turn back again to ^fthe weak and worthless elementary principles of the world, whose slaves you want to be once more?

Ephesians 2:12

12 remember ^gthat you were at that time separated from Christ, ^halienated from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers to ⁱthe covenants of promise, ^jhaving no hope and without God in the world.

1 Timothy 1:17
