Genesis 1:11-12

11 And God said, ^a“Let the earth sprout vegetation, plants ^{▼▼Or small plants; also verses 12, 29} yielding seed, and fruit trees bearing fruit in which is their seed, each according to its kind, on the earth.” And it was so. 12 The earth brought forth vegetation, plants yielding seed according to their own kinds, and trees bearing fruit in which is their seed, each according to its kind. And God saw that it was good.

Genesis 2:9

Genesis 4:11-12

11 And now ^jyou are cursed from the ground, which has opened its mouth to receive your brother’s blood from your hand. 12 When you work the ground, it shall no longer yield to you its strength. You shall be a fugitive and a wanderer on the earth.”

Isaiah 61:11

11 For as the earth brings forth its sprouts,
and as a garden causes what is sown in it to sprout up,
so the Lord God will cause ^krighteousness and praise
to sprout up before all the nations.
