Genesis 1:16-18

16And God amade the two great lights—the greater light to rule the day and the lesser light to rule the night—and the stars. 17And God set them in the expanse of the heavens to give light on the earth, 18to brule over the day and over the night, and to separate the light from the darkness. And God saw that it was good.

Deuteronomy 4:19

19And beware lest you raise your eyes to heaven, and when you see cthe sun and the moon and the stars, dall the host of heaven, you be drawn away and bow down to them and serve them, things that the Lord your God has allotted to all the peoples under the whole heaven.

Deuteronomy 11:16

16Take care elest your heart be deceived, and you turn aside and fserve other gods and worship them;

2 Kings 23:11

11And he removed the horses that the kings of Judah had dedicated to the sun, at the entrance to the house of the Lord, by the chamber of Nathan-melech the chamberlain, which was in the precincts.
The meaning of the Hebrew word is uncertain
And he burned the chariots of the sun with fire.

Jeremiah 8:2

2And they shall be spread kbefore the sun and the moon and all the host of heaven, which they have loved and served, which they have gone after, and which they have sought and worshiped. lAnd they shall not be gathered or buried. mThey shall be as dung on the surface of the ground.

Ezekiel 8:16

16And he brought me into nthe inner court of the house of the Lord. And behold, at the entrance of the temple of the Lord, obetween the pporch and qthe altar, were about twenty-five men, rwith their backs to the temple of the Lord, and their faces toward the east, worshiping sthe sun toward the east.
