Genesis 1:27-28

27 So God created man in his own image,
in the image of God he created him;
^amale and female he created them.
28 And God blessed them. And God said to them, ^b“Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it, and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”

Genesis 2:18-25

18 Then the Lord God said, “It is not good that the man should be alone; ^cI will make him a helper fit for ^{▼▼Or corresponding to; also verse 20} him.” 19 ^eNow out of the ground the Lord God had formed ^{▼▼Or And out of the ground the Lord God formed} every beast of the field and every bird of the heavens and ^gbrought them to the man to see what he would call them. she shall be called Woman,

24 ⁿTherefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh. 25 And the man and his wife were both naked and were not ashamed.
