Genesis 1:27-28

27 So God created man in his own image,
in the image of God he created him;
^amale and female he created them.
28 And God blessed them. And God said to them, ^b“Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it, and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”

Genesis 9:7

7 And you, ^{▼▼In Hebrew you is plural} be fruitful and multiply, increase greatly on the earth and multiply in it.”

Jeremiah 16:2-4

2 “You shall not take a wife, nor shall you have sons or daughters in this place. 3 For thus says the Lord concerning the sons and daughters who are born in this place, and concerning the mothers who bore them and the fathers who fathered them in this land: 4 ^dThey shall die of deadly diseases. ^eThey shall not be lamented, nor shall they be buried. ^fThey shall be as dung on the surface of the ground. ^gThey shall perish by the sword and by famine, ^hand their dead bodies shall be food for the birds of the air and for the beasts of the earth.
