Genesis 1:29-30

29And God said, “Behold, I have given you every plant yielding seed that is on the face of all the earth, and every tree with seed in its fruit. aYou shall have them for food. 30And bto every beast of the earth and to every bird of the heavens and to everything that creeps on the earth, everything that has the breath of life, I have given every green plant for food.” And it was so.

Genesis 3:17-19

17And to Adam he said,

Because you have listened to the voice of your wife
and have eaten of the tree
cof which I commanded you,
‘You shall not eat of it,’
dcursed is the ground because of you;
ein pain you shall eat of it all the days of your life;
18thorns and thistles it shall bring forth for you;
and you shall eat the plants of the field.
19By the sweat of your face
you shall eat bread,
till you return to the ground,
for out of it you were taken;
ffor you are dust,
and gto dust you shall return.”

Psalms 104:14-15

14 You cause hthe grass to grow for the livestock
and iplants for man to cultivate,
that he may bring forth jfood from the earth
15and kwine to gladden the heart of man,
loil to make his face shine
and bread to mstrengthen man’s heart.

Psalms 115:16

16 The heavens are the Lord’s heavens,
but the earth he has given to the children of man.

Proverbs 13:23

23The fallow ground of the poor would yield much food,
but it is swept away through ninjustice.

Proverbs 27:23-27

23 oKnow well the condition of your flocks,
and pgive attention to your herds,
24for qriches do not last forever;
and does a crown endure to all generations?
25 rWhen the grass is gone and the new growth appears
and the vegetation of the mountains is gathered,
26 sthe lambs will provide your clothing,
and the goats the price of a field.
27 tThere will be enough goatsmilk for your food,
for the food of your household
and maintenance for your girls.
