 Peleg means division
for in his days the earth was divided, and his brother’s name was Joktan.

Genesis 14:13

13Then one who had escaped came and told Abram the Hebrew, ewho was living by the foaks
Or terebinths
of Mamre the Amorite, brother of Eshcol and of Aner. These were allies of Abram.

Daniel 9:26-27

26And after the sixty-two weeks, an anointed one shall hbe cut off and shall have nothing. And the people of the prince who is to come ishall destroy the city and the sanctuary. jIts

end shall come with a flood, land to the end there shall be war. mDesolations are decreed.
27And he shall make a strong covenant with many for one week,
Or seven; twice in this verse
and for half of the week he shall put an end to sacrifice and offering. oAnd on the wing of abominations shall come one who makes desolate, until pthe decreed end is poured out on the desolator.”

The Abomination of Desolation

15So when you see the abomination of desolation qspoken of by the prophet Daniel, standing in rthe holy place ( slet the reader understand),

Luke 23:29-31
