Genesis 11:30

30Now Sarai was barren; she had no child.

Genesis 15:2-3

2But Abram said, “O Lord God, what will you give me, for I continue
Or  I shall die
childless, and the heir of my house is Eliezer of Damascus?”
3And Abram said, “Behold, you have given me no offspring, and ba member of my household will be my heir.”

Genesis 16:2

2And Sarai said to Abram, “Behold now, the Lord has prevented me from bearing children. Go in to my servant; it may be that I shall obtain children
Hebrew be built up, which sounds like the Hebrew for  children
by her.” And Abram listened to the voice of Sarai.

Genesis 17:16-19

16I will bless her, and moreover, I will dgive

 Isaac means he laughs
I will establish my covenant with him as an everlasting covenant for his offspring after him.

1 Samuel 1:2

2He had two wives. The name of the one was Hannah, and the name of the other, Peninnah. And Peninnah had children, but Hannah had no children.

Luke 1:7
