Jeremiah 3:1

Romans 7:2-3

2For ga married woman is bound by law to her husband while he lives, but if her husband dies she is released from the law of marriage.
Greek law concerning the husband
3Accordingly, ishe will be called an adulteress if she lives with another man while her husband is alive. But if her husband dies, she is free from that law, and if she marries another man she is not an adulteress.

1 Corinthians 7:4

4For the wife does not have authority over her own body, but the husband does. Likewise the husband does not have authority over his own body, but the wife does.

11(but if she does, jshe should remain unmarried or else be reconciled to her husband), and kthe husband should not divorce his wife.

39 lA wife is bound to her husband as long as he lives. But if her husband dies, she is free to be married to whom she wishes, only min the Lord.
