Genesis 12:3

3 aI will bless those who bless you, and him who dishonors you I will curse, and bin you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”

God’s Covenant with Abram

1After these things the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision: eFear not, Abram, I am fyour shield; your reward shall be very great.”

Genesis 15:4-5

4And behold, the word of the Lord came to him: “This man shall not be your heir; gyour very own son
Hebrew what will come out of your own loins
shall be your heir.”
5And he brought him outside and said, “Look toward heaven, and inumber the stars, if you are able to number them.” Then he said to him, jSo shall your offspring be.”

Genesis 17:5-6

5No longer shall your name be called Abram,
 Abram means exalted father
but nyour name shall be Abraham,
 Abraham means father of a multitude
pfor I have made you the father of a multitude of nations.
6I will make you exceedingly fruitful, and I will make qyou into nations, and rkings shall come from you.

Genesis 17:8

8And sI will give to you and to your offspring after you the land of your sojournings, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession, and tI will be their God.”
