11If they say, “Come with us, dlet us lie in wait for blood;
elet us ambush the innocent without reason;
12like Sheol let us fswallow them alive,
and whole, like gthose who go down to the pit;
13we shall find all precious goods,
we shall fill our houses with plunder;
14throw in your lot among us;
we will all have one purse”—
15my son, hdo not walk in the way with them;
ihold back your foot from their paths,
16for jtheir feet run to evil,
and they make haste to shed blood.
17 kFor in vain is a net spread
in the sight of any bird,
18but these men llie in wait for their own blood;
they mset an ambush for their own lives.
19 nSuch are the ways of everyone who is ogreedy for unjust gain;
pit takes away the life of its possessors.

14who rrejoice in doing evil
and sdelight in the perverseness of evil,
15men whose tpaths are crooked,
uand who are vdevious in their ways.
16 So wyou will be delivered from the forbidden

27Her house is ahthe way to Sheol,
going down to the chambers of death.
