Genesis 18:20-21

20Then the Lord said, “Because bthe outcry against Sodom and Gomorrah is great and their sin is very grave, 21 cI will go down to see whether they have done altogether
Or  they deserve destruction; Hebrew  they have made a complete end
according to the outcry that has come to me. And if not, eI will know.”

Psalms 14:1-4

The Fool Says, There Is No God

To the choirmaster. Of David.

1 fThe gfool says in his heart, h“There is no God.”
They are icorrupt, they do abominable deeds;
jthere is none who does good.
2 The Lord klooks down from heaven on the children of man,
to see if there are any who understand,
Or that act wisely

who mseek after God.
3 They have all turned aside; together they have become ncorrupt;
there is none who does good,
not even one.
4 Have they no oknowledge, all the evildoers
who peat up my people as they eat bread
and qdo not call upon the Lord?

Psalms 53:2

2 God looks down from heaven
on the children of man
to see if there are any who understand,
Or  who act wisely

who seek after God.

Romans 1:28-31

28And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, sGod gave them up to ta debased mind to do uwhat ought not to be done. 29They were filled with all manner of unrighteousness, evil, covetousness, malice. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, maliciousness. They are gossips, 30slanderers, haters of God, insolent, haughty, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents, 31foolish, faithless, heartless, ruthless.

Romans 3:9-19

No One Is Righteous

9What then? Are we Jews
Greek  Are we
any better off?
Or at any disadvantage?
No, not at all. For we have already charged that all, both xJews and yGreeks, are zunder sin,
10as it is written:

aa“None is righteous, no, not one;
11no one understands;
no one seeks for God.
12All have turned aside; together they have become worthless;
no one does good,
not even one.”
13 abTheir throat is acan open grave;
they use their tongues to deceive.”
ad“The venom of asps is under their lips.”
14 aeTheir mouth is full of curses and bitterness.”
15 afTheir feet are swift to shed blood;
16in their paths are ruin and misery,
17and agthe way of peace they have not known.”
18 ah“There is no fear of God before their eyes.”
19Now we know that whatever aithe law says it speaks to those who are under the law, ajso that every mouth may be stopped, and akthe whole world may be held accountable to God.
