Genesis 13:5-11

5And Lot, who went with Abram, also had flocks and herds and tents, 6so that athe land could not support both of them dwelling together; for their possessions were so great that they could not dwell together, 7 band there was strife between the herdsmen of Abram’s livestock and the herdsmen of Lot’s livestock. At that time cthe Canaanites and the Perizzites were dwelling in the land.

8Then Abram said to Lot, d“Let there be no strife between you and me, and between your herdsmen and my herdsmen, efor we are kinsmen.
Hebrew we are men, brothers
9 gIs not the whole land before you? Separate yourself from me. If you take the left hand, then I will go to the right, or if you take the right hand, then I will go to the left.” 10And Lot lifted up his eyes and saw that the hJordan Valley was well watered everywhere like ithe garden of the Lord, like the land of Egypt, in the direction of jZoar. (This was before the Lord kdestroyed Sodom and Gomorrah.) 11So Lot chose for himself all the Jordan Valley, and Lot journeyed east. Thus they separated from each other.

And the firstborn went in and lay with her father. He did not know when she lay down or when she arose.

34The next day, the firstborn said to the younger, “Behold, I lay last night with my father. Let us make him drink wine tonight also. Then you go in and lie with him, that we may preserve offspring from our father.” 35So they made their father drink wine that night also. And the younger arose and lay with him, and he did not know when she lay down or when she arose. 36Thus both the daughters of Lot became pregnant by their father. 37The firstborn bore a son and called his name Moab.
