God’s Covenant with Abram

1After these things the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision: aFear not, Abram, I am byour shield; your reward shall be very great.”

Genesis 17:7-8

7And I will cestablish my covenant between me and you and your offspring after you throughout their generations for an everlasting covenant, dto be God to you and to your offspring after you. 8And eI will give to you and to your offspring after you the land of your sojournings, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession, and fI will be their God.”

Genesis 24:27

27and said, “Blessed be the Lord, gthe God of my master Abraham, who has not forsaken hhis steadfast love and his faithfulness toward my master. As for me, the Lord ihas led me in the way to the house of my master’s kinsmen.”

Genesis 26:24

24And the Lord appeared to him the same night and said, j“I am the God of Abraham your father. kFear not, for lI am with you and will bless you and multiply your offspring for my servant Abraham’s sake.”

Genesis 28:13

13And behold, mthe Lord stood above it
Or beside him
and said, o“I am the Lord, the God of Abraham your father and the God of Isaac. pThe land on which you lie I will give to you and to your offspring.

Genesis 31:42

42 qIf the God of my father, the God of Abraham and the rFear of Isaac, had not been on my side, surely now you would have sent me away empty-handed. sGod saw my affliction and the labor of my hands and trebuked you last night.”

Genesis 32:9

9And Jacob said, u“O God of my father Abraham and God of my father Isaac, O Lord who vsaid to me, ‘Return to your country and to your kindred, that I may do you good,’

Exodus 3:6

6And he said, w“I am the God of your father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.” And Moses hid his face, for xhe was afraid to look at God.

Exodus 3:15

15God also said to Moses, “Say this to the people of Israel: ‘The Lord,
The word Lord, when spelled with capital letters, stands for the divine name, YHWH, which is here connected with the verb hayah, “to be” in verse 14
the zGod of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you.’ This is aamy name forever, and thus I am to be remembered throughout all generations.

1 Kings 18:36

36And at the time of abthe offering of the oblation, Elijah the prophet came near and said, “O Lord, acGod of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, let it be known this day that adyou are God in Israel, and that I am your servant, and that aeI have done all these things at your word.
