God’s Covenant with Abram
1After these things the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision: a“Fear not, Abram, I am byour shield; your reward shall be very great.”Deuteronomy 33:29
29Happy are you, O Israel! cWho is like you,a people dsaved by the Lord,
ethe shield of your help,
and the sword of your triumph!
Your enemies shall come fawning to you,
and you shall tread upon their backs.”
