God’s Covenant with Abram
1After these things the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision: a“Fear not, Abram, I am byour shield; your reward shall be very great.”Numbers 14:9
9Only cdo not rebel against the Lord. And ddo not fear the people of the land, for ethey are bread for us. Their protection is removed from them, and the Lord is with us; do not fear them.”Deuteronomy 33:29
29Happy are you, O Israel! fWho is like you,a people gsaved by the Lord,
hthe shield of your help,
and the sword of your triumph!
Your enemies shall come fawning to you,
and you shall tread upon their backs.”
