18On that day the Lord made a covenant with Abram, saying, a“To your offspring I give

19the land of the Kenites, the Kenizzites, the Kadmonites, 20the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Rephaim, 21the Amorites, the Canaanites, the Girgashites and the Jebusites.”

Exodus 23:31

31 dAnd I will set your border from the Red Sea to the Sea of the Philistines, and from the wilderness to the Euphrates,

for fI will give the inhabitants of the land into your hand, and you shall drive them out before you.

Numbers 34:3-15

3 gyour south side shall be from the wilderness of Zin alongside Edom, and your southern border shall run from the end of hthe Salt Sea on the east. 4And your border shall turn south of ithe ascent of Akrabbim, and cross to Zin, and its limit shall be south of Kadesh-barnea. Then it shall go on to jHazar-addar, and pass along to Azmon. 5And the border shall turn kfrom Azmon to lthe Brook of Egypt, and its limit shall be at the sea.

6“For the western border, you shall have the Great Sea and its
Syriac; Hebrew lacks  its
coast. This shall be your western border.

7This shall be your northern border: from the Great Sea you shall draw a line to nMount Hor. 8From Mount Hor you shall draw a line oto Lebo-hamath, and the limit of the border shall be at pZedad. 9Then the border shall extend to Ziphron, and its limit shall be at qHazar-enan. This shall be your northern border.

10“You shall draw a line for your eastern border from Hazar-enan to Shepham. 11And the border shall go down from Shepham to rRiblah on the east side of Ain. And the border shall go down and reach to the shoulder of sthe Sea of Chinnereth on the east. 12And the border shall go down to the Jordan, and its limit shall be at tthe Salt Sea. This shall be your land as defined by its borders all around.”

13Moses commanded the people of Israel, saying, uThis is the land that you shall inherit by lot, which the Lord has commanded to give to the nine tribes and to the half-tribe. 14 vFor the tribe of the people of Reuben by fathershouses and the tribe of the people of Gad by their fathershouses have received their inheritance, and also the half-tribe of Manasseh. 15The two tribes and the half-tribe have received their inheritance beyond the Jordan east of Jericho, toward the sunrise.”

Joshua 1:3-4

3 wEvery place that the sole of your foot will tread upon I have given to you, just as I promised to Moses. 4 xFrom the wilderness and this Lebanon as far as the great river, the river Euphrates, all the land of the Hittites to the Great Sea toward the going down of the sun shall be your territory.

Joshua 14:9

9And Moses swore on that day, saying, ySurely the land zon which your foot has trodden shall be an inheritance for you and your children forever, because you have wholly followed the Lord my God.’
