Genesis 15:2-3

2But Abram said, “O Lord God, what will you give me, for I continue
Or  I shall die
childless, and the heir of my house is Eliezer of Damascus?”
3And Abram said, “Behold, you have given me no offspring, and ba member of my household will be my heir.”

Genesis 16:1-2

Sarai and Hagar

1 cNow Sarai, Abram’s wife, had borne him no children. She had a female Egyptian servant whose name was dHagar. 2And Sarai said to Abram, “Behold now, the Lord has prevented me from bearing children. Go in to my servant; it may be that I shall obtain children
Hebrew be built up, which sounds like the Hebrew for  children
by her.” And Abram listened to the voice of Sarai.

Genesis 18:11-12

11Now fAbraham and Sarah were old, advanced in years. The way of women had ceased to be with Sarah. 12 gSo Sarah laughed to herself, saying, hAfter I am worn out, and imy lord is old, shall I have pleasure?”

Genesis 21:1-2

The Birth of Isaac

1The Lord jvisited Sarah as he had said, and the Lord did to Sarah kas he had promised. 2And Sarah lconceived and bore Abraham a son in his old age mat the time of which God had spoken to him.

Jacob’s Children

31When the Lord saw that Leah was ohated, phe opened her womb, but Rachel was barren.

Genesis 30:1-2

1When Rachel saw that qshe bore Jacob no children, she envied her sister. She said to Jacob, “Give me children, or I shall die!” 2Jacob’s anger was kindled against Rachel, and he said, “Am I in the place of God, rwho has withheld from you the fruit of the womb?”

Judges 13:2

2There was a certain man of sZorah, of the tribe of the Danites, whose name was Manoah. tAnd his wife was barren and had no children.
