Moses Given Powerful Signs

1Then Moses answered, “But behold, they will not believe me or listen to my voice, for they will say, ‘The Lord did not appear to you.’” 2The Lord said to him, “What is that in your hand?” He said, b“A staff.” 3And he said, “Throw it on the ground.” So he threw it on the ground, and it became a serpent, and Moses ran from it. 4But the Lord said to Moses, “Put out your hand and catch it by the tail”—so he put out his hand and caught it, and it became a staff in his hand 5“that they may cbelieve that the Lord, dthe God of their fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has appeared to you.” 6Again, the Lord said to him, “Put your hand inside your cloak.”

And he put his hand inside his cloak, and when he took it out, behold, his hand was fleprous

7Then God said, “Put your hand back inside your cloak.” So he put his hand back inside his cloak, and when he took it out, behold, hit was restored like the rest of his flesh. 8“If they will not believe you,” God said, “or listen to the first sign, they may believe the latter sign. 9If they will not believe even these two signs or listen to your voice, you shall take some water from the Nile and pour it on the dry ground, and the water that you shall take from the Nile iwill become blood on the dry ground.”

Judges 6:17

17And he said to him, jIf now I have found favor in your eyes, then kshow me a sign that it is you who speak with me.

Judges 6:37

37behold, I am laying a fleece of wool on the threshing floor. If there is dew on the fleece alone, and it is dry on all the ground, then I shall know that you will save Israel by my hand, as you have said.”

Judges 7:13-15

13When Gideon came, behold, a man was telling a dream to his comrade. And he said, “Behold, I dreamed a dream, and behold, a cake of barley bread tumbled into the camp of Midian and came to the tent and struck it so that it fell and turned it upside down, so that the tent lay flat.” 14And his comrade answered, “This is no other than the sword of Gideon the son of Joash, a man of Israel; God has given into his hand Midian and all the camp.”

15As soon as Gideon heard the telling of the dream and its interpretation, he worshiped. And he returned to the camp of Israel and said, “Arise, for the Lord has given the host of Midian into your hand.”

Judges 18:5

5And they said to him, lInquire of God, please, that we may know whether the journey on which we are setting out will succeed.”

1 Samuel 6:7-9

7Now then, take and prepare ma new cart and two milk cows non which there has never come a yoke, and yoke the cows to the cart, but take their calves home, away from them. 8And take the ark of the Lord and place it on the cart and put in a box at its side othe figures of gold, which you are returning to him as pa guilt offering. Then send it off and let it go its way 9and watch. If it goes up on the way to its own land, to qBeth-shemesh, then it is he who has done us this great harm, but if not, then we shall know that it is not rhis hand that struck us; it happened to us by coincidence.”

1 Samuel 10:2-10

2When you depart from me today, you will meet two men by sRachel’s tomb in the territory of Benjamin at Zelzah, and they will say to you, t‘The donkeys that you went to seek are found, and now uyour father has ceased to care about the donkeys and is anxious about you, saying, “What shall I do about my son?”’ 3Then you shall go on from there farther and come to the voak of Tabor. aawhere there is a garrison of the Philistines. And there, as soon as you come to the city, you will meet a group of prophets coming down abfrom the high place with harp, tambourine, flute, and lyre before them, prophesying.
6 acThen the Spirit of the Lord will rush upon you, adand you will prophesy with them and be turned into another man. 7Now when aethese signs meet you, do what your hand finds to do, affor God is with you. 8Then go down before me agto Gilgal. And behold, I am coming down to you to offer burnt offerings and ahto sacrifice peace offerings. aiSeven days you shall wait, until I come to you and show you what you shall do.”

9When he turned his back to leave Samuel, God gave him another heart. And all these signs came to pass that day. 10When they came to ajGibeah,

behold, a group of prophets met him, aland the Spirit of God rushed upon him, and he prophesied among them.
