Genesis 16:7-13

7The angel of the Lord found her by a spring of water in the wilderness, the spring on the way to aShur. 8And he said, “Hagar, servant of Sarai, where have you come from and where are you going?” She said, “I am fleeing from my mistress Sarai.” 9The angel of the Lord said to her, “Return to your mistress and submit to her.” 10The angel of the Lord also said to her, b“I will surely multiply your offspring so that they cannot be numbered for multitude.” 11And the angel of the Lord said to her,

Behold, you are pregnant
and shall bear a son.
You shall call his name Ishmael,
 Ishmael means God hears

dbecause the Lord has listened to your affliction.
12He shall be ea wild donkey of a man,
his hand against everyone
and everyone’s hand against him,
and he shall dwell fover against all his kinsmen.”
13So she called the name of the Lord who spoke to her, “You are a God of seeing,”
Or  You are a God who sees me
for she said, hTruly here I have seen him who looks after me.”
Hebrew Have I really seen him here who sees me? or Would I have looked here for the one who sees me?

Genesis 22:15-18

15And the angel of the Lord called to Abraham a second time from heaven 16and said, j“By myself I have sworn, declares the Lord, because you have done this and have not withheld your son, your only son, 17I will surely bless you, and I will surely multiply your offspring kas the stars of heaven and las the sand that is on the seashore. Genesis 32:24-30

24And Jacob was left alone.  Israel means He strives with God, or God strives
for uyou have striven with God and vwith men, and have prevailed.”
29Then Jacob asked him, “Please tell me your name.” But he said, wWhy is it that you ask my name?” And there he blessed him. 30So Jacob called the name of the place Peniel,
 Peniel means the face of God
saying, “For yI have seen God face to face, and yet my life has been delivered.”

Genesis 48:15-16

15And he blessed Joseph and said,

“The God zbefore whom my fathers Abraham and Isaac walked,
the God who has been my shepherd all my life long to this day,
16 aathe angel who has abredeemed me from all evil, bless the boys;
and in them let acmy name be carried on, and the name of my fathers Abraham and Isaac;
and let them adgrow into a multitude
Or  let them be like fish for multitude
in the midst of the earth.”

Exodus 3:2

2 afAnd agthe angel of the Lord appeared to him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush. He looked, and behold, the bush was burning, yet it was not consumed.

6And he said, ah“I am the God of your father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.” And Moses hid his face, for aihe was afraid to look at God.

Isaiah 63:9

and the angel of his presence saved them;

Acts 7:32

32 anI am the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham and of Isaac and of Jacob.’ And Moses trembled and did not dare to look.

Acts 7:35
