Abraham and the Covenant of Circumcision
1When Abram was ninety-nine years old the Lord appeared to Abram and said to him, “I am God Almighty; ▼▼Hebrew El Shaddai

4Let a clittle water be brought, and wash your feet, and rest yourselves under the tree,2 Chronicles 25:9

17If this be so, iour God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of your hand, O king. ▼▼Or If our God whom we serve is able to deliver us, he will deliver us from the burning fiery furnace and out of your hand, O king.
Daniel 6:20
20As he came near to the den where Daniel was, he cried out in a tone of anguish. The king declared to Daniel, “O Daniel, servant of kthe living God, lhas your God, whom you serve continually, mbeen able to deliver you from the lions?”Matthew 3:9
9And do not presume to say to yourselves, n‘We have Abraham as our father,’ for I tell you, God is able from othese stones to raise up children for Abraham.
