Abraham and the Covenant of Circumcision
1When Abram was ninety-nine years old the Lord appeared to Abram and said to him, “I am God Almighty; ▼▼Hebrew El Shaddai
walk before me, and be bblameless, Leviticus 26:3
3 c“If you walk in my statutes and observe my commandments and do them,1 Kings 3:3
3Solomon dloved the Lord, ewalking in the statutes of David his father, only he sacrificed and made offerings at the high places.1 Kings 3:14
14And if you will walk in my ways, keeping my statutes and my commandments, fas your father David walked, then gI will lengthen your days.”1 Kings 8:23
23and said, “O Lord, God of Israel, hthere is no God like you, in heaven above or on earth beneath, ikeeping covenant and showing steadfast love to your servants who walk before you with all their heart;2 Kings 20:3
3“Now, O Lord, jplease remember how I have walked before you in faithfulness and kwith a whole heart, land have done what is good in your sight.” mAnd Hezekiah wept bitterly.2 Kings 23:3
3And the king stood nby the pillar and omade a covenant before the Lord, pto walk after the Lord and to keep his commandments and his testimonies and his statutes with all his heart and all his soul, to perform the words of this covenant that were written in this book. And all the people joined in the covenant.2 Kings 23:25
25 qBefore him there was no king like him, who turned to the Lord with all his heart and with all his soul and with all his might, according to all the Law of Moses, nor did any like him arise after him.2 Chronicles 17:3
3The Lord was with Jehoshaphat, because he walked in the earlier ways of his father David. He did not seek the Baals,Luke 1:6
6And they were both rrighteous before God, walking sblamelessly in all the commandments and statutes of the Lord.
