Genesis 18:2-5

2He lifted up his eyes and looked, and behold, three men were standing in front of him. aWhen he saw them, he ran from the tent door to meet them and bowed himself to the earth 3and said, “O Lord,

if I have found favor in your sight, do not pass by your servant.
4Let a clittle water be brought, and wash your feet, and rest yourselves under the tree, 5while I bring a morsel of bread, that dyou may refresh yourselves, and after that you may pass onesince you have come to your servant.” So they said, “Do as you have said.”

Genesis 19:2

2and said, “My lords, fplease turn aside to your servant’s house and spend the night gand wash your feet. Then you may rise up early and go on your way.” They said, hNo; we will spend the night in the town square.”

Judges 19:20-21

20And the old man said, iPeace be to you; I will care for all your wants. jOnly, do not spend the night in the square.” 21So he brought him into his house and gave the donkeys feed. kAnd they washed their feet, and ate and drank.

Isaiah 16:3-4
