Genesis 18:3-5
3and said, “O Lord, ▼▼Or My lord
if I have found favor in your sight, do not pass by your servant. 4Let a blittle water be brought, and wash your feet, and rest yourselves under the tree, 5while I bring a morsel of bread, that cyou may refresh yourselves, and after that you may pass on— dsince you have come to your servant.” So they said, “Do as you have said.” Judges 6:18-19
18Please edo not depart from here until I come to you and bring out my present and set it before you.” And he said, “I will stay till you return.”19So Gideon went into his house fand prepared a young goat and unleavened cakes from an ephah ▼
▼An ephah was about 3/5 bushel or 22 liters
of flour. The meat he put in a basket, and the broth he put in a pot, and brought them to him under the terebinth and presented them.
