God Destroys Sodom
23The sun had risen on the earth when Lot came to Zoar. 24Then athe Lord rained on Sodom and Gomorrah sulfur and fire from the Lord out of heaven. 25And he overthrew those cities, and all the valley, and all the inhabitants of the cities, and what grew on the ground.Matthew 24:17-18
17 bLet the one who is on cthe housetop not go down to take what is in his house, 18and let the one who is in the field not turn back to take his cloak.Matthew 24:37-39
37 dFor as were the days of Noah, eso will be the coming of the Son of Man. 38 fFor as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, gmarrying and giving in marriage, until hthe day when Noah entered the ark, 39and they were unaware until the flood came and swept them all away, iso will be the coming of the Son of Man.
